NHS Halton CCG has been shortlisted in three categories for Health
Service Journal 2015 Awards. Judges for the awards have sifted
through and scored over 1600 entries, so getting shortlisted is in itself a
fantastic achievement.
We have been shortlisted in the Primary Care
Innovation category for our Wellbeing Practices, which serve our whole practice
population. Operation Emblem, the mental health diversion scheme for
people who may have been subject to intervention under s136 of the Mental
Health Act, has been shortlisted in the Innovation in Mental Health
category. This work includes NHS Warrington CCG, Cheshire Police and 5 Boroughs
Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
The third category is in the CCG
Commissioning for Carers category and is for the development and commissioning
of an integrated system for carers services in Halton. We now have to
meet the judging panels for each of the categories over the next month. We will then find out on 18th November 2015 if we have won.
